EVALUATIONS
PLAYER EVALUATIONS
Player evaluations at Haka SC are structured across four core development pillars to provide a complete picture of each athlete’s performance, understanding, and growth throughout the season.
Tactical Understanding
Players are evaluated on their ability to read the game, make effective decisions, and apply tactical concepts in both training and match environments. This includes positional awareness, decision-making in possession, defensive understanding, game intelligence such as scanning and anticipation, and movement off the ball.
Technical Ability
Technical evaluations focus on a player’s comfort and efficiency on the ball under pressure. Areas assessed include first touch and receiving, passing range and accuracy, dribbling and ball mastery, and shooting or finishing ability.
Physical Attributes
Physical assessments consider how players apply athletic qualities within the game rather than isolated fitness alone. Players are evaluated on speed and acceleration, agility and balance, strength and physical presence, endurance and work rate, and overall injury resilience throughout the season.
Psychological & Social Development
This area evaluates the mindset and behaviors that support long-term success. Players are assessed on attitude and coachability, leadership and communication, focus and mental resilience, respect for teammates and opponents, and their growth mindset and willingness to learn.
