THE CREST
Our visual identity was designed by Director Joshua Clark. The club badge is presented in its official formal crest — Haka Soccer Club
BADGE ELEMENTS
The crest is built around a shield, symbolizing leadership, protection, and our commitment to spearheading elite player development in the Yorkville area.
At the center of the badge is a skull, which in Māori culture represents ancestry, identity, and the enduring presence of those who came before us. The head is adorned with a sacred Tā Moko, a traditional form of tattooing that is earned through personal achievement and used to express one’s mana — prestige, honor, and standing within the community. This element reflects our belief that growth, discipline, and respect are earned over time through consistent effort.
The crossbones represent our position at the crossroads of the surrounding suburbs, linking communities and creating a shared pathway for players from different backgrounds to develop together under one identity.
The club’s primary colors, coral and teal, were chosen to reflect the Fox River and Midwest sunsets, while also introducing a distinctive and modern color palette that sets Haka Soccer Club apart from the competition.
